Marsa Matrouh

Marsa Matrouh is an Egyptian city and port on the Mediterranean Sea and the capital of Matrouh Governorate. It is located 240 km (150 mi) west of Alexandria and 222 km (138 mi) east of Salloum on the main highway from the Nile Delta to the Libyan border. The city can also be reached from the south via another highway that passes through the Western Desert towards Siwa Oasis and the Bahariya Oasis. Marsa Matrouh International Airport is located in the city. The city is distinguished by its soft white sand beaches and calm waters. The bay is protected from high seas by a series of rocks that form a natural breakwater, with a small opening to allow light ships to enter.

Egypt is considered the vibrant heart of the Arab world, covered in beauty, filled with warmth, and revered by sanctity. It is considered a global historical archive in all the meanings of this word. It is the one on whose land civilizations emerged. It is the one that competes with everyone to love and sing about it. It is the capital of art and life, and the capital of culture, science, and religion.
